Welcome to my website and blog on education, social justice, and mindful living in a networked world. Here I share information, resources, ideas, and ruminations on these topics. I am an associate professor of education at Arcadia University studying and teaching about teacher collaboration, networking, literacies, technologies, civic engagement, and urban education. My alter ego is as the other half of John and Kira’s, an artisanal, socially responsible chocolate company that my husband and I founded in 2000. If you like learning about pedagogies of possibility, networks of learning, good food, and mindfulness, you’ve come to the right place.
